Outside the wake
Step 1: Go outside the wake. The right wake if you are right foot forward. The left wake if you are left foot forward.
Step 2: Turn into a side slide position at the base of the wake and hold it making sure to keep your handle down low.
Step 3: Start cutting away from the wake holding that side slide and keeping the handle low. Allow yourself to turn all the way backwards. Pushing your handle below your butt and closing your shoulders off from the boat.
Inside the wake
Step 1: Keep your arms and legs slightly bent with your handle at your hip level.
Step 2: Rotate your hips and shoulders around closing them off to the boat.
Step 3: Make sure your handle is locked below your butt. This helps you to lock in and hold the trick.
Step 4: Lean away slightly keeping your knees bent and your chest up.
Step 5: Slowly turn forward keeping your handle and your hip level.
